The Flower Festival in Genzano is the setting up a carpet of floral paintings drawn along Via Italo Berardi (the old via Livia). The carpet is maintained constantly by spraying the petals with water, until the afternoon of Monday, when it takes place a religious procession of Corpus Christi, and then the destruction of the carpet from the children, the so-called “shouldering”.

The recording was made at the midpoint of the street, from which you can hear the kids run around on the street in a flurry of footsteps and shouts.
