Immediately outside the metro station Arco di Travertino, there is a large grate for the ventilation of the station, so that stopping near this grate (the usual meeting point for these station) the noise of the cars and the nearby bus terminal merges with that of the subway trains arriving and departing, that arrives in surface due to the grating on the sidewalk. On several occasions you hear footsteps and voices of passengers leaving the station.
